INNOVATIVE AXIAL-TECH FAN DESIGN Axial-tech fan design was originally the end result of R&D efforts for top-end ROG graphics cards. This innovative design has now been carried over to the PSU to give it the same fantastic performance. It features a smaller fan hub that facilitates longer blades and a barrier ring that works to increase downward air pressure. The enhanced efficiency allows the fan to keep things nicely cooled at low RPMs, resulting in less system noise and increased component lifespan.
DUAL BALL FAN BEARINGS Different PSU bearing types have unique pros and cons. In ROG Strix PSUs, durability is a critical factor, so they feature a dual ball bearing setup which allows it to last up to twice as long as a sleeve bearing design.
NEAR-SILENT 0DB OPERATION The ROG Strix PSU features an on-board controller that brings the 135mm fan to a standstill when total draw power (TDP) is below 40%, allowing you to enjoy light gaming in relative silence. When it goes above 40% TDP, the fans will automatically start up again.
