The Asustor AS5202T NAS 2 x Bay Hot Swappable Enclosure when populated with your choice of hard drive capacity is designed as a Personal Cloud Network Attached Storage device for home and office as well as cloud storage device for live streaming and content creators to create your own streaming center. Stream your content from a phone or tablet as well as a computer to multiple streaming platforms, Including, but not limited to YouTube, Twitch, Mixer or RTMP compatible platforms. Unlike paid streaming services the Asustor AS5202T Live app doesn’t require fees to operate to stream to multiple platforms and channels which saves you money and streaming resources. Recordings can be safely saved to your NAS for future use.

 

Powered by a 2 GHz Intel Celeron J4005 Dual-Core processor, 2GB of 2400 MHz DDR4 RAM, which can be upgraded to 8GB, 4GB of eMMC flash memory, and dual 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet slots that can be paired through link aggregation to deliver speeds of up to 5 Gb/s. Peripheral connectivity is achieved using one HDMI 2.0a and three 5 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. Dual 3.5"/2.5" SATA III drive bays provide ample room for storage, and the drive bays can be configured as RAID 0 and 1, each of which provides performance gains, data redundancy, or a combination of both. For those who do not require a RAID, JBOD is also available.

 

If your storage needs grow, up to three AS6004U expansion units (sold separately) can be added on for a total of 14 drive bays. Other integrated features include 10-bit HEVC/VP9 4K hardware decoding, AES 256-bit encryption, and more. Included are two RJ45 cables, eight flat head screws for 2.5" drives, an AC power cord, and an AC power adapter.
